About Kate

Hi, I’m Kate, a registered psychotherapist with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario) and the founder of Insight-Online Therapy. At Insight-Online, we’re dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized psychotherapy services that empower individuals to live more fulfilling lives. Our mission is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and respected, no matter your background, experiences, or challenges.

In my practice, I specialize in contemporary relational psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and neuropsychotherapy—holistic, brain-based approaches that support your mind, body, and spirit. Life can present difficult transitions, losses, anxiety, trauma (including vicarious and moral injury), or depression. Exploring painful experiences and feelings isn’t easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we can dive into the roots of your stress, burnout, and feelings of inadequacy, working towards a more balanced and authentic life.

I work with professionals, executives, therapists, caregivers, front-line healthcare workers, and first responders who may appear successful yet feel unfulfilled in their personal lives. Perhaps you’re re-evaluating your priorities or grappling with exhaustion, stress, or feelings of detachment. In our sessions, we’ll examine how life patterns, current relationships, and family dynamics impact your well-being, working through grief, loss, anxiety, trauma, and depression to foster a healthier present and future.

Drawing from multiple therapeutic disciplines—cognitive/dialectical behavioural, mindfulness, trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and humanistic, among others—I emphasize psychodynamic and analytic psychotherapy. This approach dives into the foundations of emotional suffering, using self-reflection, exploration, and the therapeutic relationship as catalysts for change. I also incorporate neuropsychotherapy, blending mind and body perspectives to address how emotional challenges like grief, anxiety, and depression affect our physiology. This holistic approach aims to bring deep, long-term relief, fostering a sense of meaning, peace, and resilience.
