Hi! I’m Shannon (she/her). I believe that therapy is a vital part of personal growth, development, and well-being. Life, in all its complexity, beauty, and unpredictability, can sometimes feel overwhelming.
Having someone to talk to, someone who’s there solely for you, is invaluable in helping you process the experiences you go through. It’s essential to finding contentment and happiness.
As an adult educator and a parent of grown children, I’ve witnessed the power of human resilience firsthand. Every individual has an innate strength waiting to be nurtured. Once that inner resilience is activated, the possibilities are endless. Nothing can hold a resilient person back!

Navigating life’s unexpected twists and turns can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from ourselves. Whether you are struggling with anxiety or burnout, the challenge of being neurodivergent, or battling low self-esteem and feeling like being true to yourself is a constant battle, I’m here to offer a supportive hand. In our sessions, we’ll begin to uncover valuable insights and develop effective coping mechanisms. You’ll learn to set and honour your boundaries and build the confidence and resilience needed to face life’s challenges with strength.
My natural therapeutic inclination leans towards psychodynamic and humanistic approaches, particularly person-centered counselling modalities. Furthermore, as a professional musician, artist, and avid gardener, I am keenly interested in art, play, and nature-based therapy as future interests to explore. I have training and experience utilizing various modalities, such as CBT, DBT, IFS, Attachment-Based Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and EMDR. Beyond therapeutic modalities, I am committed to embracing and respecting your unique history and circumstances.
I approach sessions by focusing on the body’s wisdom and integrating mindfulness to foster a space filled with compassion and free from judgment. My commitment is to support your holistic healing, empowering you to cultivate courage, embrace self-love, and restore balance in your life.
