Madison Soldan, MA

Qualifying Psychotherapist/Counsellor

Welcome, I am glad that you are here. I am Madison, I have just completed my Master's in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I provide affordable counselling sessions to individuals experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, or struggling with relationship issues. I work collaboratively with individuals to meet their needs and have worked with people from diverse backgrounds or gender orientations. I work remotely with clients in Ontario and Alberta.  Congratulations on taking that first step in reaching out for support. Are you feeling anxious, depressed, exhausted, stuck, overwhelmed, stressed, or misunderstood? Are you finding interpersonal relationships challenging, or are you dealing with the loss of a relationship? If so, I can support you with the daily challenges that come with stress, depression, and anxiety by providing a safe space for you to understand who you are and who you want to be.  I look forward to helping you strive to bring well-being back into your life.  I have experience in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, addiction, grief, relationship issues and more.

I am here to provide a safe, warm, collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I take a person-centred approach where we work together to meet your needs in therapy. I have experience with Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Strength-Based Modalities. I also integrate Motivational Interviewing and harm-reduction techniques for those struggling with addiction. I am a trauma-informed counsellor who aims to build trust and support in navigating you through challenging times. As we work together, we will explore the root of your anxiety, depression, stress, or any feelings you may be having.
